1. Ask for ratings from your customers
Think about it, prospective customer don't know you, so why would they choose to use your services without testimonials from previous customers?
Ratings are basically your "Word of Mouth" Online and the best way to give prospective new customers peace of mind that you are a genuine, quality tradesman. So make your life easier by reminding a happy customer to leave you a rating when a job is complete. Ratings are also displayed publicly on the website and every month we select a Tradesman of the Month based on 5* ratings!
2. Add photos of your work
Photos online are proven to bring extra work to businesses and a great way to show customers what you do.
You can add unlimited amount of photos to your Member Profile by going to the 'Add photos' page in your account.
3. Replying to customers
In the online reply section there are 4 boxes you need to fill in order to give your potential customer as much information as possible. Personalise your responses to make that all important first impression and stand out to the customer. Read more about creating quick but effective responses to jobs.
4. Bid smart and get to the customer first
After replying to the customer, you have an option of calling them. Bid for a customer number using your bidding credits, and if you are in the top 3 tradesmen bids, you'll get the customer's mobile number by sms. You can then follow up your initial reply with a phone call. Learn more about bidding.
